HELIUM
-
A hotspot small device that converts your internet signal into a traditional 915Mhz radio frequency allowing signal transmission over a large area to provide coverage for the helium IoT (internet of things) network.
-
A preferred installation consists of a helium antenna connected to a satellite mount installed on the roof. When roof installation is not an option due to accessibility or another issue, we have a variety of different methods available. A rooftop installation will provide the best coverage and therefore the best yield.
-
Hotspots only use 25W of energy - that's the equivalent of an LED lightbulb!
-
Helium is a low-power project that is environmentally and socially responsible. In fact, Helium has partnered with the city of San Jose to help provide high-speed internet to low-income families.
-
There is no cost to our hosts for installation. Canadian Web3 Installations (also known as CW3 Installations) has assumed those costs and provides all equipment monitoring and maintenance as a part of the partnership we endeavor to create. This is how we earn our share of the rewards.
-
There is nothing required from the host to maintain the equipment, except an open line of communication in order to resolve any issues in a timely manner, as seamlessly as possible.
-
Connectivity issues can usually be adjusted or rebooted remotely, but in order to remain as productive as possible, we require a phone number or email where you are easily reachable.
In some cases, the hotspot, modem, or antennae may need to be manually rebooted or adjusted. If the situation arises, CW3 Installations will communicate with you to set up the best time to make any adjustments, assuring that your network connection is as uninterrupted and as seamless as possible.
-
The installation does not make you more susceptible to hacking. The Helium network is founded on blockchain technology which is currently unhackable. As with anything in the crypto space, you are the steward of your own security and information. You will be responsible for keeping your 12 keywords safe and confidential.
-
Our hosts are individual partners and each offering is unique. As a result, there is no set-in-stone profit share percentage for hosts. CW3 Installations receive a minimum of 50% of the profits, the host percentage is negotiated based on location and other mitigating factors.
-
The helium network Token is currently listed on multiple exchanges including Binance, KuCoin, and Crypto.com. CW3 Installations will gladly help new users get set up and guide them through the process of selling at the host’s request.
-
If something goes wrong with your HNT wallet, there is little CW3 installations can do for the host. CW3 installations can not stress enough the importance of keeping your keywords safe and secure.
All possible levels of 2FA (two-factor authentication) like google authenticator should be enabled on any and all crypto platforms used by our hosts. Failure to do so could lead to a loss of assets with no ability to recover them.
DIMO
-
When drivers connect their cars and stream data, they earn $DIMO. Everyone earns a portion of the weekly drop (baseline issuance), and they earn more when app developers and data consumers pay for their data or vehicle access (marketplace issuance).
-
DIMO pulls the data from your vehicle’s display port the same way a technician servicing your vehicle plugs in a diagnostic car code reader).
-
There are several ways to earn reward points with DIMO.
1. Earn by connecting your car: You’ll receive your first DIMO reward points just by connecting your car to DIMO. Then, simply stay connected to watch your points grow.
2. Earn when your data is used: Once you’re connected, you’ll have the option to share your data to increase your earnings. You’ll always have a say in who can access your data, as well as the choice to stay anonymous or not.
3. Earn by contributing: Earn more points by recommending friends with qualified vehicles via DIMO.
